BG Rotary Club to host Beatles tribute fundraiser for ‘Science on the Road’

From BOWLING GREEN ROTARY CLUB

The Bowling Green Rotary Club will host “An Evening with Hard Day’s Night – Ohio’s Tribute to The Beatles” on Friday, April 17, from 7 – 10 p.m., with doors opening at 6 p.m., at the Veterans Memorial Building in City Park, 520 Conneaut Ave. This community event will raise funds to support the Imagination Station’s “Science on the Road” program, presented by the Bowling Green Rotary Club, bringing hands-on science education experiences to local children and families.

The evening will feature a live performance by Hard Day’s Night, a Beatles tribute band that recreates the energy and sound of the Fab Four’s classic era. Hundreds of community members, business leaders, and guests are expected to attend for a night of music, fellowship, and philanthropy.

The evening’s theme, “All You Need Is Love … and a Photo Booth,” adds a playful twist to the celebration. Ever Capture Photo Booth will bring some fun to the BG Rotary Beatles fundraiser, inviting guests to snap photos with friends and instantly receive them via text or email – no prints, just easy-to-share digital keepsakes to remember the night.

Guests will also have the chance to win one of three raffle baskets curated especially for this event:

  • Selection of fine bourbon whiskey
  • Selection of gift cards for local merchants and restaurants
  • Two-night stay at the Old Harbor Inn in South Haven, Michigan, in the Harbor Landing 44 suite featuring a luxurious king-size bed, a kitchenette, and views of boats heading out to Lake Michigan

Proceeds from the event will benefit the Imagination Station’s “Science on the Road” program in Bowling Green, helping to expand engaging, interactive science programming for area students and their families and continuing the Rotary Club’s tradition of service and investment in the local community.

Event sponsors will receive recognition in event promotions, social media, and on-site signage, highlighting their commitment to Bowling Green youth and STEM education. Sponsorship opportunities are available, each with benefits such as event tickets, drink tickets, priority seating, and public acknowledgement during the program.

Tickets are $50 per person and include admission, snack, soft drinks, and bottled water, with adult beverages available for purchase at an additional cost.

Contributions are tax-deductible through the Bowling Green Rotary Foundation Inc., a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Tickets will be available through Bowling Green Rotarians and the Rotary Club of Bowling Green.
