A Bowling Green woman was arrested over the weekend for reportedly driving while intoxicated, refusing BAC tests, and for improper handling of a firearm in her vehicle.
On Saturday (May 2) around 10:30 p.m., an off-duty BG police officer called in to report a vehicle swerving on the road. At South Main Street and Gypsy Lane Road, an on-duty officer located the vehicle and followed it, reportedly pulling it over after it swerved into the oncoming lane.
The driver, Alizabeth Wagner, 34, reportedly had slurred speech, glassy eyes, and smelled of alcohol. She was reportedly unable to pass the field sobriety tests, and refused to do breath or urine tests.
Wagner also reportedly had a firearm with a live round in the chamber, in the center console of her vehicle.
Her driver’s license was confiscated and she was taken to Wood County Jail.
