The Bowling Green High School Model United Nations team earned several awards at The Ohio State University Model UN conference March 8-10 in Columbus.
Three individuals were recognized for their work. Lucille Nomaguchi-Long was named the Best Delegate for the ADHOC committee.
Aria Weaver was named an Outstanding Delegate for the Historical Crisis Committee: Paths to Restoration: The Baltic Singing Resolution.
As a delegate for the Historic Crisis Committee: Divine Justice: Gods, Generals, and the Crisis of the Greco-Persian War, senior Ashley Knowlton was named an Honorable Mention Delegate.
“All of the delegates who participated were well-spoken and actively engaged in discussion with other schools, including Dublin Jerome High School and William Mason High School,” said Mary Kern, adviser to the BGHS Model UN Team.
