The BGOPride organization has multiple events planned in Bowling Green during October and November. Following is a list:
Sunday, Oct. 13 – Rainbow Rumble at 2 p.m.
Open play event and tournament
Rock’Em Sock’Em Retro, 127 S. Main St., Bowling Green
$5 event entry (includes arcade open play)
$10 per tourney player
Sunday, Oct. 27 – Autumn Afternoon from 1 to 4 p.m.
First Presbyterian Church, 126 S. Church St., Bowling Green
Free afternoon of fall crafts, music and festive snacks.
Wednesday, Oct. 30 – NAMI Support Group at 6 p.m.
NAMI Wood County Office, 1250 Ridgewood Drive, Bowling Green
Free LGBTQ+ Peer Support Group offered to those struggling with their mental health. This confidential support group is co-facilitated by members of NAMI & BGO Pride.
Wednesday, Nov. 20 – Trans Day of Remembrance at 6 p.m.
First Presbyterian Church, 126 S. Church St., Bowling Green
Join a vigil remembering members of the trans community that have been lost this year. Following the vigil will be a free community dinner.
