Honoring the selfless service and sacrifice of missing and captured military members, Bowling Green State University student veterans will hold a prisoner of war/missing in action remembrance event at 12:30 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 16, on the first floor of the Bowen-Thompson Student Union.
As part of the event, students will set up and display a table in honor of the more than 80,000 service members who never returned home. The POW/MIA table will be on display in the union through Friday, Sept. 20, National POW/MIA Recognition Day.
The event is organized by the BGSU chapter of Student Veterans of America, a student-led organization that provides resources, support and advocacy to veterans and military-connected students in higher education.
