Bowling Green State University will host the 24th annual State of the Region conference on Thursday, March 26, from 8 a.m. – noon in the Bowen-Thompson Student Union, Lenhart Grand Ballroom. The 2026 conference is titled “Shaping Ohio’s Next Generation of Talent: Advancing Education-Employer Collaboration to Power Ohio’s Economic Future.”
This event is an economic development gathering in northwest Ohio. The conference brings together elected officials, economic developers, business leaders, and other regional stakeholders to discuss issues critical to the future vitality of the region and its people.
Attendees will hear from BGSU President Rodney K. Rogers and a lineup of panelists. The full agenda as well as names of the keynote speaker and panelists will be coming soon.
