The Black Swamp Ice Frogs will host Street Hockey n the Swamp a low impact street hockey event Sunday, July 28, noon to 4 p.m. at the Bowling Green City Park, 520 Conneaut Ave.
This is a very low impact event with participants in street shoes only (no skates or roller blades). Everyone will be asked to ear a Helmut. The club will have a limited supply of helmets available for use and the sticks will be provided.
The Black Swamp Ice Frogs is a special needs hockey team that is based out of Bowling Green at the Slater Family Ice Arena at BGSU. The team is for anyone with any type of disability – the only requirement is the desire to get on the ice and have some fun.
Those wishing to participate are asked to RSVP to: blackswampicefrogs@gmail.com. RSVP not required but will help the club have enough equipment on hand.
Bring a picnic lunch – beverages will be provided.
