Carolyn Romaker, 81, of Bowling Green, Ohio passed away Monday July 9, 2018. She was born May 26, 1937 in Rudolph, Ohio to Dale and Alpha (Shafer) Boyer. She married James Romaker on March 19, 1956 and he preceded her in death September 6, 2005.
Carolyn was a 1955 graduate of Liberty High School. She loved to travel and spend time with her family and friends. She enjoyed shopping, drinking wine and was an avid watcher of golf.
She is survived by her children Dennis Romaker (Bette Blair) of Bowling Green, Ohio, Dean (Christianna) Romaker of Las Vegas, Nevada and Denise (Philip) Jacobs of Kenosha, Wisconsin, grandchildren Big Josh, Jamie, Little Josh, Katelynn, Andrew and Aaron, 8 great-grandchildren , brother Bob Boyer of Custar, Ohio and sister Sue Mercer of Cygnet, Ohio.
Carolyn’s funeral service will be held on Saturday July 14, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at Dunn Funeral Home, located in the Historical District of Bowling Green at 408 West Wooster St. Father Walter Tuscano will officiate. Interment will follow at Wood County Memory Gardens in Bowling Green. Visitation will be held Saturday morning at the funeral home from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service at 11:00 a.m.
Memorial contributions may be given in her memory to St. Louis School or Bridge Hospice in Bowling Green.
