Cecil R. Shidler Jr., 67, of Weston, Ohio passed away peacefully at home on September 4, 2016. He was born on February 28, 1949 to Cecil Shidler Sr. and Adeline Kalita. He married Sharon Ball in 1972 and they later divorced. He married Shaun Barnes in 2014 and she survives in Weston, Ohio.
Also surviving are two daughters, Alicia (Kenny) Seeley of Weston, Ohio and Sondra (jeff) Wolbalt of Swanton, Ohio, son Keith Shidler of Swanton, Ohio, step-son Daniel (Tammy) Wardof Weston, Ohio, 6 grandchildren, sister Pat Krol of Georgia and brother Terry Shidler of Swanton, Ohio.
Cecil served his country in the United States Army for six years during the Vietnam War. He was retired from Johns Manville. He enjoyed motorcycling and spending time with his grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, sister Mary Louise Wolfe and brother Alen Drew Shidler.
Visitation will be held on Friday September 9, 2016 from 3:00pm until the time of his Memorial Service at 4:30pm at Dunn Funeral Home, located in the Historical District of Bowling Green at 408 West Wooster Street. Pastor Chris Boggs will officiate. Following the Memorial Service the family would like to invite everyone who is able to join them at Adventure Motorcycle, 20660 US Hwy 6 Weston, Ohio for a meal.
