Claudia Madeline Thomas, 68, of Bowling Green, Ohio passed away April 6, 2023. She was born on September 12, 1954 to Alfred and Ilse (Moebes) Thomas.
She grew up in Bowling Green, Ohio and graduated from BGHS. She spent most of her adult life in California. Claudia received an Art degree from Bowling Green State University, and she continued her studies of Art History in Germany after college. Claudia was an extreme athlete kite-surfing in the Columbia Gorge as well as hiking and biking. She was a painter and jewelry artist, and she was a gifted gardener and worked as a massage therapist.
Claudia is survived by a son, Bodhi Sangye Tenzin Thomas of California and her older sister, Sylvia Thomas who lives on the West Coast.
A Celebration of Life will be held in the summer.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted with Dunn Funeral Home, located in the Historical District of Bowling Green at 408 West Wooster Street.
