Crews will be working on Brim Road, between Jefferson Drive and Standish Drive in Bowling Green, to clear high voltage electrical transmission lines. Removal of the trees near the utility lines is necessary due to their size and to maintain safe and sufficient line clearance.
New height and width appropriate trees and shrubs will be planted to replace any removed trees. The new plantings will provide a sufficient buffer between the fairgrounds and residential area.
Work is scheduled to begin on Monday, Oct. 26. Intermittent lane restrictions along Brim Road are expected from Oct. 26-30.

The project schedule is subject to change depending on weather conditions and the progress of the work.
