“Hottie” needs a home.
The mixed-breed dog is currently the longest stay resident at the Wood County Dog Shelter, having been there since Dec. 21.
Hottie is about 3 – 4 years old, spayed and vaccinated. She weighs 72 pounds and is listed as a Pit Bull Terrier mix. She is very friendly, sociable, and loves to snuggle. Hottie likes to go for walks and is really good on a leash. She is housebroken and knows basic commands like “sit,” “stay” and “down.”
She would do best in a home without cats and should meet other dogs before going home. She is very toy motivated and loves her food.
The Wood County Dog Shelter is located at 1912 E. Gypsy Lane Road, Bowling Green, phone 419-354-9242.
The adoption fee for all shelter dogs is $89, which includes a $14 Wood County dog license, and $75 vet voucher toward spay/neuter and vaccines if needed. The hours for the shelter are Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Thursday from 8:30 a.m. to noon and 3:30 to 4:30 p.m., and Saturday from 9 a.m. to noon.
