Dorothy V. Lugabihl, 102, of Bowling Green, Ohio passed away Monday January 1, 2018. She was born January 30, 1915 in Portage, Ohio to Charles E. and Elsie E. (Fletcher) Beaupre. She married Gerald “Jerry” Lugabihl on February 12, 1934 and he preceded her in death. Dorothy was a graduate of Bowling Green High School. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Bowling Green, Circle of Joy member and a former volunteer at the Wood County Hospital. She was a knitting “helper” at Kathy’s Quality Yarns and she enjoyed traveling, reading, knitting and sewing. Her greatest joy in life came from spending time with her grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. She is survived by her daughter-in-law Kathy Lugabihl of Bowling Green, Ohio, grandson Michael (Susan) Lugabihl of Bloomdale, Ohio, 5 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren. Along with her husband Jerry, she was preceded in death by her son Robert Lugabihl, brother Clarence Beaupre and granddaughter Donna (Lugabihl) Venis. Dorothy’s funeral service will be held on Friday January 5, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at Dunn Funeral Home, located in the Historical District of Bowling Green at 408 West Wooster St. Visitation will begin Friday morning at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Webster Township Cemetery in Scotch Ridge. Memorial contributions can be given in her memory to the First Presbyterian Church, 126 S. Church St. Bowling Green, Ohio 43402.
