Douglas R. Sheeks, 73, of North Baltimore, died on Monday, June 1, 2026, at his residence. He was born on July 16, 1952, in Bowling Green to the late Kenneth and Esther (Wittenmyer) Sheeks. He married Cheryl (Cook) and she preceded him in death.
Doug is survived by his daughters: Shannon (Andrew) Marczak of Apollo Beach, FL, Shari (Michael) Yantiss of Napoleon, OH, Susan (Mike) Zuhlsdorf of Gladwin, MI and Kenzie (John Austin) Hutchison of Jerry City, OH; brothers: Jerry (Doris) Sheeks of Mt. Home, AK and Randall (Colleen) Sheeks of Bowling Green; 8 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren; and his best friends: Lee Holloway and Chip Frost.
Doug retired from Nortbalt Rubber in North Baltimore. He was an avid fisherman and hunter.
Visitation will be held from 2:00-6:00 p.m., Tuesday, June 9, 2026, at SMITH-CRATES FUNERAL HOME, North Baltimore.
