Doyle C. Watson, 85, of Arcadia, passed away on Tuesday, September 22, 2026 at his residence with his family by his side. He was born on December 22, 1940, in Napoleon, Ohio to the late Doyle O. and Arlene (Coates) Watson. On April 21, 1962 he married Helen (Ramsey) Watson who preceded him in death on January 25, 1998.
Survivors include his sons, Doyle (Kathy) Watson, of North Baltimore, Dwayne (Jodi) Watson, of Burnsville, MN, and James (Christine) Watson, of Findlay. His daughters, Pamela (William) Lambert, of Napoleon, and Renee (John) Bayliff, of Findlay. Nineteen grandchildren, and many great, and great-great grandchildren, as well as a brother, Gerald (Marilyn) Watson, of Jewell. Preceding him in death were his parents, wife, a son, Christopher Watson, his brothers, Martin and Kenneth Watson, and sisters Jean Hamilton, and Rose Ludeman.
Doyle was a Truck Driver for various companies driving for over 40 years, retiring in 2006. He served his country in the United States Army during the Korean War. He enjoyed spending time with his family, going out to lunch and sitting on his porch. Doyle also enjoyed playing euchre at the Findlay Moose Lodge and at the AmVets Hall and watching old western movies.
Visitation for Doyle will be held on Friday, September 25, 2026 from 11-1 pm at the COLDREN-CRATES FUNERAL HOME, Findlay. A funeral service will follow at the funeral home at 1 pm with Pastor Dan Metzger officiating. Burial will follow at Trinity Memory Gardens, Findlay where members of the Hancock County Veterans Memorial Squad will accord military honors.
