Phipps, Shevlin, Hebeka Family Dentistry welcomes Dr. Jenna Shevlin to their general dentistry practice which has been locally owned and operated for over 40 years.
The press release announcing her joining the practice stated” Dr. Shevlin “continues the compassionate and high quality care of founders Drs. James Phipps and Jeffery Levin who have recently retired.”
Dr. Shevlin brings over a decade of dental experience the which includes Dr. Ryan Phipps and Dr. George Hebeka.
Dr. Shevlin is originally from Northeastern Ohio and received her Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from Denison University and Doctorate of Dental Surgery from The Ohio State University in 2011. Afterward, she attended a general practice residency at Miami Valley Hospital, where she completed rotations in internal medicine, anesthesia, and trauma care as well as advanced courses in pharmacology and the treatment of medically compromised and pediatric patients. While at Miami Valley, she received certification in intravenous conscious sedation and Advanced Cardiac Life Support.
She is a member of the American Dental Association, Ohio Dental Association, and Toledo Dental Society. She also is a member of the Northwest Ohio chapter of the Seattle Study Club. A lifelong learner, Dr. Shevlin enjoys all aspects of dentistry and has earned additional training in infant tongue-tie release, clear aligner orthodontics (Invisalign), and implants through the Misch Implant Institute.
When Dr. Shevlin is not working, she likes spending time with her husband, Chad, and children, Keigan and Sawyer, as well as walking her two German Shepherds. She enjoys gardening and using her creativity with crafts. Dr. Shevlin looks forward to serving the community for years to come.
