Felix is still waiting at the Wood County Dog Shelter for someone to offer him a home. He is 1 to 2 years old, fully vaccinated, heartworm negative, and up to date on flea and tick prevention.
Felix does well with most other dogs but the shelter always recommends people with dogs at home bring them in to meet Felix first.
He is currently the office dog and is super calm and lays in his dog bed, according to Chief Dog Warden Jodi Harding. He seems to be housebroken and will whine when he has to go out to potty. He loves going for walks and loves playing ball in the dog park.
The adoption fee for all shelter dogs is $89, which includes a $14 Wood County dog license, and $75 vet voucher toward spay/neuter and vaccines if needed.
The hours for the shelter are Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Thursday from 8:30 a.m. to noon and 3:30 to 4:30 p.m., and Saturday from 9 a.m. to noon. The shelter is closed on Sundays. The Wood County Dog Shelter is located at 1912 E. Gypsy Lane Road, Bowling Green, phone 419-354-9242.
