Findlay man arrested for 2 counts domestic violence, one count felonious assault

A Findlay man was arrested for two counts of domestic violence and one count of felonious assault in Bowling Green on Monday.

Bowling Green Police were called to an apartment in the 100 block of East Washington Street around 9 p.m. after a woman was allegedly assaulted by her boyfriend, reportedly after she brought up the topic of child support.

Owen Morse, 24, allegedly punched the woman in the face with a closed fist. The police report noted she had swelling to the side of her face, a bloodied ear, and a chipped tooth. The child reportedly also had a bruise above her eye from the “follow through” from the punch to her mom’s head.

The woman told police that after she spit her tooth into her hand, Morse took it, reportedly saying he didn’t want her to have evidence of the assault.

Findlay Police picked up Morse at his parents’ home in Findlay. He was taken to Wood County Jail.
