Former fair board member Brock Abke pleads guilty to pandering obscenity, contributing to delinquency of a minor, & grooming

Brock Abke pled guilty today (May 13,2026) to four counts of Pandering Obscenity Involving a Minor as well as two counts of Contributing to the Delinquency of a Child and one count of Grooming related to allegations against him while he was a member of the Wood County Fair Board. 

Two of the Pandering Obscenity charges are second-degree felonies while the other two are fourth-degree felonies. 

The Grooming charge is a fifth-degree felony while the Contributing charges are first degree misdemeanors. 

The maximum penalty the Court could impose is a prison sentence of 20 to 24 years. 

Abke’s sentencing will be held on July 9th at 1:30 in courtroom of Common Pleas Judge Joel Kuhlman.
