The Bowling Green Exchange Club and Bowling Green High School have announced that Francesca Meek is the February 2023 Student of the Month. Francesca is a senior at Bowling Green High School and will graduate on May 28, 2023. She is the daughter of Geoffrey Meek and Antonia Dzakula-Meek.
Francesca’s school honors and activities include membership in the National Honors Society, Spanish Honors Society, and the National Society of High School Scholars. She is very active in DECA where she recently placed first in the district competition for her Integrated Marketing Campaign.
Francesca is a three-year letter winner on the volleyball team where she was a two-time co-captain, Second and Third team NLL selection, and the Most Valuable Player for her team. Francesca is also first chair for the BGHS Concert Orchestra.
Outside of school, Francesca has worked at BLISS Salon and Spa as an assistant and as a volleyball coach. Additionally, Francesca has volunteered for the American Red Cross, Harvest for Hunger campaign, Firefly Nights, and 2nd and 7 Reading Foundation.
Francesca currently has a 4.3 GPA. After high school, Francesca plans to attend Bowling Green State University and enroll in the Pre-Professional Program in Law.
