The annual Togany Fest will return to downtown Tontogany from Aug. 14 – 16 with fun for the whole family. The band “Artic Clam” will open festivities on Friday, Aug. 14. Veterans and first responders will also receive one complimentary drink on Aug. 14. Below is the schedule of festivities for the weekend.
Friday, Aug. 14
- 6 p.m. – Beer tent opens, food, music
- No outside alcohol is permitted inside the beer tent
- 6 – 8 p.m. – Happy hour
- 7:45 p.m. – Opening of fest by Mayor Matt Shanahan
- 8 – 11 p.m. – Music by Arctic Clam
Saturday, Aug. 15
- 8 – 10 a.m. – Community pancake breakfast at Village Hall
- 9 a.m. – 2 p.m. Rummage sale at Calvary Church
- 10:30 a.m. – Parade lineup
- 11 a.m. – All registrations, raffle tickets, and information for fest available in beer tent
- No outside alcohol is permitted inside the beer tent
- 11 a.m. – Parade begins
- Defying Gravity dancers will perform immediately following the parade at Main and Broad streets
- 11:30 a.m. – 1 p.m. – Chicken-n-noodles at Calvary Church
- Noon – 4 p.m. – Ongoing activities throughout Togany
- Youth activities: face painting, temporary tattoos, yard games, more
- Food trucks
- Visit Animal House Glass
- Noon – Beer tent opens
- Noon – 6 p.m. – Happy Hour
- 1 p.m. – Cornhole tournament starts under the tent
- 3 p.m. – Otsego FFA kiddie tractor pull and mechanical calf roping on Main Street
- 3:30 – 4:30 p.m. – Pie registration at the Fire Hall
- 4 p.m. – Craft beer and wine tasting under the tent
- 4 – 6 p.m. – Johnny Rodriguez
- 6 p.m. – Bed races at Broad and Main streets
- 6:15 – 7:45 p.m. – Karaoke presented by Lane and Leslie Lee
- 8 – 11 p.m. – North of Nashville
- 9:30/10 p.m. – Pie auction and raffle drawing – Both activities take place during the band’s break
Sunday, Aug. 16
- 10 – 11:30 a.m. – Community church service and potluck at Centennial Park Pavilion
Raffle prizes include:
- First prize: $300
- Second prize: $150
- Third prize: $75
Pie auction categories include:
- Apple
- Pecan
- Cherry
- Cream
- Peach
- Other fruit
- Miscellaneous
Each pie category winner will receive $10. The “Best in Show” will receive an additional prize basket.
