The six concerts feature performances by guest artists and BGSU music faculty and students. Works of Prestini and dozens of other composers including BGSU faculty will be featured. Performances also will be livestreamed on the College of Musical Arts’ YouTube channel. Prestini’s compositions will be performed on each concert.

Prestini will deliver the Composer Talk Thursday 1:30 p.m. at Bryan Recital Hall  to open the festival. Prestini has cultivated an expansive and humanistic musical voice, through pieces that transcend genre and discipline, and projects whose global impact reverberates beyond the walls of the concert hall.

Guest performers are:

The Parker Quartet, which will perform on quartets by Prestini, Anthony Cheung, and Beethoven on Friday at 8 p.m. in Kobacker Hall,
Cellist Jeffrey Zeigler who will perform Prestini’s “Houses of Zodiac” Friday at 2:30 p.m. in Kobacker Hall.
