GFWC Women’s Club of BG to host annual breakfast

From GFWC WOMEN’S CLUB OF BOWLING GREEN

GFWC Women’s Club of Bowling Green will meet for the annual breakfast on Saturday, May 2, at First Christian Church, at the corner of Haskins and Poe roads, with social time beginning at 9:30 a.m. Members arranging the breakfast have prepared dishes to share with club sisters.

Dottie Linn will introduce this month’s music presentation by students of the BGSU Musical Arts Program. After breakfast, inspiration will be offered by Kim Roessner. Kathy East and Roessner will introduce winners of the BGHS scholarships.

A short business meeting will include committee chair announcements – holiday art and craft show update from Carolyn Overhulse, Project Linus Blanket update from Carol Ballard, June picnic update from Linda Moore, and recycling tip of the month from Lorraine Miners. Treasurer Susan Enright will share her report and correspondence from donation recipients.

Members are encouraged to watch for emails regarding garden group, literature group, and Ladies Who Lunch.

The designated charity for this month is Angels in Arms. The club will make a donation of $200 on behalf of members.
