From BOWLING GREEN CHAMBER OF COMMERCE
The Bowling Green Chamber of Commerce and Good Day Cat Café have announced a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Tuesday, Nov. 10, at 11 a.m., at 124 W. Wooster St., Bowling Green.
This woman-owned and ADA-compliant business serves traditional café faire along with creations like the “Pudge Frappe.” Fresh baked goods are sourced from local home bakeries. The café is proud to sell coffee produced by Kitty Town Coffee, where every bag sold feeds a cat in need for five days.
Helping cats is a large part of Good Day Cat Café’s mission, as its cat lounge holds up to 12 rescue kittens and cats looking for their forever homes, though visitors are always welcome to visit with them and enjoy the peace the cat lounge can bring.
Good Day Cat Café invested $30,000 in rebuilding its former business, Tabby & Fidos, and opened with the idea of offering the community a space to relax in the company of loving cats. Visitors are offered reward cards to earn free drinks, and specials are offered for seniors, veterans, and current members of the military. The café also donates gift baskets and free visits to Good Day Cat Café at events in the community and is proud to support other businesses and community members.
Good Day Cat Café invites all community members to attend the ceremony. This event is free and open to the public, with registration available at bgchamber.net/rsvp.
