Good night for Republican incumbent legislators

It was a good night for Republican incumbents.

According to unofficial tallies as of 11 p.m.:

U.S. Congressman Bob Latta (R-Bowling Green) with 68 percent of the vote was handily defeating Democrat Nick Rubando, 224,312-105,699. All precincts were reporting except for in Lucas County where 122 of 312 had reported. 

District 3 State Representative Haraz Ghanbari (R-Wood County) with 58.3 percent of the vote defeated Laurel Johnson, 36,804 to 26,337 with all precincts reporting.

District 2 State Senator Theresa Gavarone (R-Bowling Green)  with 61.2 percent was defeating Joel O’Dorisio, 108,465 to 68,616.  All the precincts in Erie, Fulton, Ottawa,  and Wood counties had reported, but only 113 of 312 precincts in Lucas County had reported.
