Grass Roots to host kids’ hands-on workshops in June

Grass Roots, 22544 N. Dixie Highway, Perrysburg, will host two hands-on creative workshops for kids ages 5–12 this June.

On June 13 from 1-4 p.m., the business will host “Mini Worlds & Big Imaginations.” Kids will create a miniature world using reclaimed shadow boxes, found objects, and creative reuse materials. The workshop will be led by local artist Kelleigh Bossa.

With Father’s Day on June 21, Grass Roots will feature a Father’s Day Frame & Art Workshop on Sunday, June 14, from 2-3:30 p.m. During the workshop, participants will create colorful, framed artwork and handmade gifts for Father’s Day. Local artists Heidi Bisbee and Dan Navalta will lead the workshop.

Cost is $25 per workshop and includes all materials. Discounted pricing is available for siblings. Advance registration is required.
