Groovy Joe, a beloved canine character created by author Eric Litwin, will be featured at storytimes in both Bowling Green and Walbridge.
When unexpected dinosaur guests show up hungry for his ice cream, Groovy Joe has to think fast. Best known as the creator of Pete the Cat, Litwin is a New York Times bestselling, award-winning author. Litwin visited Bowling Green as recently as 2024 for the 1000 Books Before Kindergarten celebration.
Thanks to a partnership with State Bank, ice cream will be provided and copies of “Groovy Joe: Ice Cream and Dinosaurs” will be given away while supplies last.
The story times are Friday, July 24, at 10:30 a.m. in Bowling Green and Friday, July 31, at 10:30 a.m. in Walbridge.
