H2Ohio application deadline extended; Wood Water & Soil Conservation District adjusts to COVID-19 threat

The deadline to signed up for H2Ohio has been extended until June 2. It is highly recommend applicant have their application appointment completed by May 27.

The Wood Water & Soil Conservation District will reduce the availability of appointments starting April 1 so that the staff can get the rest of the District’s work done.

The district is now collecting the Voluntary Nutrient Management Plans for review from those who have already signed up for H2Ohio and are planning a spring 2020 phosphorous application. Ohio Department of
Agriculture will also be doing some of these reviews, so that office may be calling instead.

For all district business, the office is going to an “appointment only” availability. Call ahead to meet with someone face-to-face or drop off physical papers. Do not come to the office if you have a fever, have respiratory symptoms, have traveled within the last two weeks, or have been exposed to someone who is sick. Those who would rather not venture out,or are unable to, district workers can work with you remotely. Call in to get further instructions. This will require internet access and probably a scanner.
