Hospital hosting Ladies Night to promote women’s health

From WOOD COUNTY HOSPITAL

Wood County Hospital will offer a night with friends that includes education, stress release, prevention and early detection of many common diseases for women. Ladies’ Night was paused due to the COVID pandemic but is back and will be held on February 23rd, from 5:30-7 p.m. This event is free and focused on the importance of paying attention to women’s health during the “busy” and will highlight many important aspects of women’s health that are at times overlooked.

The event will offer wine, appetizers, screenings, a tour of the women’s center and giveaways. There will be tables with important takeaways, information and facts on trending topics. The providers from Women’s Care of Wood County’s Rivercrest OB/GYN will be introduced and share information on women’s health topics.

Each attendee will have a chance to enter to win a $100 spa gift card, and a swag bag of goodies will be available while supplies last. The event will be in the Wood County Hospital surgery waiting area. The event is free, but registration is requested and is done by visiting
