I-75 southbound near milepost 184 I Bowling Green is closed as the scene of a tractor-trailer truck fire is being cleaned up.
According to the Ohio State Patrol, this morning (Sunday, 5-11-25) at 1:58 hours, the patrol was called to the scene.
Kirandeep Mann of Ontario was operating a 2020 Freightliner on Interstate 75 south near milepost 184. Mann pulled his vehicle over to the right shoulder and came to a final rest. While parked, the Freightliner caught fire. Both the tractor and tailer became fully engulfed.
Mann was out of the vehicle and not injured.
The scene is being actively cleaned up by Bowling Green Fire Department, Pemberville Fire Department, Center Township Fire Department, Middleton Township Fire Department, Ohio Department of Transportation, and Pat and Son’s Towing.
At this time, the Ohio Department of Transportation has set up a detour for southbound traffic traveling on Interstate 75. All southbound traffic will be detoured off of Interstate 75 at exit 187 and onto State Route 582.
