Inmate cited for punching another inmate moved from community corrections to county jail

An inmate at the Northwest Community Corrections Center is now in Wood County Jail after he allegedly assaulted a fellow inmate.

Bowling Green Police responded to the Northwest Community Corrections Center, at 1740 E. Gypsy Lane Road, on Thursday (June 13) after Korey Bell Jr., 20, of Findlay, reportedly punched another inmate in the head. The inmate was taken to Wood County Hospital, where he was reportedly told he may have a minor concussion. 

Bell was cited for assault.
