Running for office and being elected as a public servant calls for someone who is active within their community and has a heart for giving back to others. Jane Spoerl is running for Wood County Treasurer because she has that passion and the experience needed to do the job well and be an asset to Wood County. Jane has 35 years of banking experience and I have had the pleasure of working with her for many of those years. Jane is known for her leadership, her excellent customer service and success as a branch bank officer. She has worked with both individuals and businesses successfully and has always been involved in her community. As a bank officer, Jane was responsible for the success and growth of her office(s). She is very knowledgeable in bank regulation, security and current technology. Jane has worked in many communities within Wood County over the years. Her experience in smaller villages like Weston and Grand Rapids as well as larger cities like Bowling Green and Perrysburg, has given her a wide variety of experience working with different individuals and businesses. Jane is comfortable working with small businesses, as well as large. She can relate to the laborer as well as the professional, and treats everyone with respect. I believe Jane has the best qualifications to serve as the next Wood County Treasurer. She has my support on November 8th.
