Joe Fawcett to be recommended as new city administrator of Perrysburg

Perrysburg Mayor Tom Mackin has announced he will recommend Joe Fawcett as the new city administrator for Perrysburg during a special meeting next week.  

Fawcett currently serves as the Director of Public Services and Assistant Municipal Administrator for the City of Bowling Green where he has been for the past eight years. He has also worked for the Wood County Board of Commissioners and Bowling Green Municipal Court. 

Fawcett is also a veteran who served for several years in the U.S. Army and Ohio National Guard.  

“I am confident that Joe will bring a wealth of knowledge that will benefit the City of Perrysburg,” Mackin said. “Joe is a conscientious, outgoing, driven, and mission-oriented individual who will be a great addition to our city.” 

Mackin will be making his recommendation for the appointment of city administrator to City Council during a special meeting to be held on Tuesday, Aug. 1, at 5:30 p.m., in City Council Chambers, 201 W. Indiana Ave., Perrysburg.
