Kimberly Crawford

Kimberly “Kim” Crawford, 69, passed away peacefully on Monday, July 6, 2026 at St. Vincent – Mercy Hospital, Toledo, Ohio.

Kim was born on July 5, 1957, in Bowling Green, Ohio to the late Marvin and Margaret (McClure) Crawford.

She graduated from Bowling Green High School and went on to work at Long’s Cleaners in Bowling Green where she later became manager of Blue Ribbon Cleaners in Perrysburg. She and Joanne McElheney currently own and operate Mad Anthony’s Tavern, Waterville, Ohio since 2001.

Kim was known for her infectious laugh and huge heart.

She was a very strong and competitive athlete. She enjoyed league softball where she won Golden Glove as a short stop, bowling, earning many ribbons and trophies, and golf. She was a long-time mini rod puller, with her family, starting with the Wood County Garden Tractor Club, mighty Mini Tractor club, and for many years with the Tri State Mini Pullers Assoc.

She enjoyed playing the saxophone and dearly loved her pets, both cats and dogs. She also was an avid fan of both the Buckeyes and the Browns

In addition to her parents, Kim was preceded in death by her brothers: Anthony Crawford and Marvin Crawford Jr.

She is survived by her partner, Joanne McElheney and her brother Stephen (MaryAnn) Crawford, as well as nieces Wendy Crawford, Jessica (Kenton) Reichley, Alyssa (Eric) Hauff, Katherine (Justin) Buckingham, nephew Anthony Crawford Jr, great nieces and nephews Nathan and Nicholas Nelson, Mackinzie Spencer, Blair and Jase Reichley, Brinley and Valerie Hauff, sisters-in law Margaret Fackler and Deborah Crawford and her fur babies Callie and Sophie.

The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to the ICU Doctors and Nurses at St Vincent’s Hospital for the compassionate and exceptional care they provided for Kim.

Family and friends are invited to visitation at Hanneman Funeral Home – Grand Rapids, 24084 W. 2nd Street, Grand Rapids, OH 43522 on Monday, July 13, 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM. A Celebration of Life service will be held on Tuesday, July 14, 2026 at 11:00 at the Funeral Home. Burial will immediately follow at Grelton Cemetery, Grelton, Ohio.

Family and friends are also invited to gather at Mad Anthony’s Tavern, 21 N Third St, Waterville, OH on Tuesday from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM to share their favorite memories.
