Lawrence ‘Larry’ Holland

Lawrence O. “Larry” Holland, age 70, of Rudolph, Ohio passed away peacefully on Monday, April 20, 2026, surrounded by his loving family at his home. He was born on January 2, 1956, in Toledo, Ohio to the late Glen & Bertha (Schooner) Holland, Sr. Larry married Holly R. Hoiles on September 2, 2006.

Surviving Larry is his loving wife, Holly; son, Jeremy (Jill) Holland of Wayne; daughters, Courtney Stone of Wayne; Amber Hoffsis of Bowling Green, Stacie (Steven Vargas) Nagy of Wayne, Kassidy (Derek McMahan) Nagy of Risingsun; brother, Glen (Sherry) Holland, of Bowling Green; grandchildren, Tyler (Jaida) Stone, Andrew Holland, Mason Holland, Olivia Stone, Tony Stone, Jayden Curtis, Allysa Hoffsis, Jordan Hoffsis, Steven Vargas Jr., Austin Vargas, Emma Vargas, Hayze Vargas, Emmitt Vargas, Thea Vargas, Karson McMahan, Remington McMahan, Waylon McMahan; great-grandchildren, Wren Stone, André Hoffsis, and baby Stone and baby Curtis on the way. He was preceded in death by his parents, Glen & Bertha, and sisters, Kathy & Sharon.

Larry was a 1974 graduate of Bowling Green High School and then worked as Director of Facilities at Bowling Green State University for many years. He had a passion for riding his Harley Davidson Motorcycle and was known for being a handy man and jack of all trades. After his double lung transplant at the University of Michigan Hospital, he became a Michigan Wolverines Fan. His greatest love in life though was spending time with his family.

Friends will be received from 4-8 PM on Thursday, April 23, 2026, at Barndt Funeral Home in Wayne, Ohio. Additional visitation will be held on Friday, April 24, 2026, at Barndt Funeral Home from 10-11 AM, where a Celebration of Life Service will begin at 11 AM with Chaplain Greg Rogers officiating.
