Lecture series to feature local World War II aviation accidents

The Wood County Museum, 13660 County Home Road, Bowling Green, invites the community to its America250 lecture series. The lecture will take place on Tuesday, June 9, at 6 p.m., in the Wood County Museum meeting room, and will discuss “Home Front Hazards: WWII Aviation Accidents in the Local Area.” Historian Rob Tong will lead the discussion.

This program will focus on the bomber that crashed in Benton Ridge and other aviation accidents that took place locally during the WWII timeframe.
