Linda Hall

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Linda Lee Hall, who left us peacefully on May 7, 2026, at the age of 78.

Linda was born on September 21, 1947, in Columbus, Ohio to the late Fred and Josephine Hall.

A proud graduate of Upper Arlington High School and The Ohio State University, Linda carried her intelligence, humor, and curiosity with her throughout her life. She found joy in both life’s simple pleasures and life’s greatest adventures. She loved to travel and especially treasured the time she spent living in England.

Linda had a deep appreciation for nature and the beauty around her. Whether tending to plants, admiring a garden, or simply enjoying the outdoors, she found happiness in the world around her. She also had a special love for music and could often be seen enthusiastically playing her “air drums” along to her favorite songs.

Above all else, Linda was a beloved sister, aunt, and great-aunt. She made it a priority to create lasting memories with those she loved, including taking her nephews on special trips and adventures around the world—experiences that will be cherished forever.

She is survived by her sister, Nancy (Frank) Eilberg; her brother, Steven Hall; her nephews, Eric (Alysse), Andrew (Mariya), Douglas (Liz), and Patrick; and her niece, Maggie. She also leaves behind her great-nephew, David, whose presence lit up her world and brought her immeasurable happiness. Linda also shared a special bond with her cousin, Sarah, whose companionship, laughter, and years of shared memories meant so much to her.

Linda will be remembered for her warmth, wit, generosity, and the love she freely gave to the people and animals fortunate enough to know her. Her memory will live on in blooming gardens, shared laughter, favorite songs turned up loud, and the countless moments of joy she created with those she loved.

The family extends a special thank you to Heritage Corner and Buckeye Hospice & Palliative Care for the compassionate care provided to Linda.

Services will be private.
