Three Bowling Green bars were found guilty of violating COVID-19 health orders by Ohio Liquor Control Commission at hearings last week.
All three establishments denied the violations, but stipulated to the facts presented.
Sanctioned were:
- Ziggy Zoomba’s was charged with “allowing persons to engage in disorderly activities” which according to the commission encompasses “violating social distancing requirements, in violation of Ohio Department of Health orders” for an incident on Oct. 4. The commission issued a five-day suspension starting Feb. 24, with the option of paying a $500 fine in lieu of the suspension.
- Brathaus first floor and walk-in cooler was also charged with “allowing persons to engage in disorderly activities” for an incident on Sept. 17. The commission issued a five -day suspension beginning at noon, Feb. 24, with the option of paying a $500 fine in lieu of the suspension.
- City Tap, the Attic & second floor patio was charged with violating the “limitation of hours for on premises sales and consumption” for an incident on Sept. 17. The commission issued a three-day suspension beginning at noon, Feb. 24, with the option of paying a $300 fine in lieu of the suspension.
