Luncheon for prospective members of Friends of Parks to feature talk on state’s geology

Do you appreciate nature? Do you enjoy being around like-minded people? If you answered yes, then the Friends of the Parks is a great organization for you! Learn more about the Friends of the Parks at a luncheon on Sunday, October 6, 2019 at Otsego Park, 20000 West River Road, Bowling Green. Lunch will be served at 1:00 pm and the presentation will begin at 1:30 p.m. The event will conclude by 2:30 p.m.

Enjoy a detailed presentation titled The Geologic History of Ohio by presenting speaker Dr. Dale Gnidovec, Collections Manager and Curator of the Orton Geological Museum, School of Earth Sciences at The Ohio State University.

Registration is required to attend by visiting www.wcparks.org and clicking programs, or calling (419) 353-1897. Lunch is provided to enjoy during the presentation.
