Man arrested after allegedly kicking in front door, pounding on bedroom doors at BG home

A man was arrested Saturday for reportedly kicking in the front door of a Bowling Green home, and pounding on the bedroom doors of the residence.

Dylan Fenimore, 20, Arcadia, was arrested for burglary, criminal damaging, and underage and under the influence. He was taken to the Wood County jail.

At 1:53 a.m., Bowling Green Police Division began receiving multiple calls from females living in a rental unit in the 200 block of North Enterprise Street. They told police that an unknown man had kicked in their front door and was banging on their bedroom doors and yelling.

When police arrived at the residence, the front door was wide open. The mailbox was ripped down and the molding of the door was damaged. Police could hear the suspect yelling on the second floor of the residence.

At the top of the stairs, police reportedly saw Fenimore sitting and yelling. Fenimore was handcuffed and put into the police vehicle. According to the police report, he had a strong odor of alcohol, his eyes were bloodshot, he was unsteady on his feet and his speech was slurred. He was unable to answer questions clearly, the report said.

The suspect had a cut on his arm, according to the police report. There were blood drops on the stairs and smeared blood on the walls.

The three residents of the home were extremely frightened by the incident, the report stated. Police contacted the landlord, and the officers secured the door with a piece of wood and nails before leaving the scene.
