A Cincinnati man on his way to court for allegedly receiving stolen property was arrested Tuesday (11/26) in Bowling Green for reportedly driving a stolen rental truck.

Bowling Green Police were notified by one of the license plate cameras in the city of a stolen vehicle being seen on East Wooster Street at Interstate 75. Police officers followed the Penske rental truck, reportedly stolen from Taylor, Michigan, to a gas station.

The driver, David Richardson, 39, told police he was on his way to Wood County Common Pleas Court for a charge of receiving stolen property involving a 2024 Dodge Ram Truck. Police also found that the driver was under a child support driver’s license suspension.

Richardson was arrested for receiving stolen property and driving under suspension, and taken to Wood County Jail.
