Bowling Green Police Division is investigating a shooting that occurred in the early morning hours today in the area of 300 block of North Main Street. Around 2:18 a.m. officers were flagged down regarding an altercation. Upon investigation a male subject was found who had a gunshot wound to the abdomen. Officers recovered several shell casings from the scene.
The victim was transported by ambulance to St. Vincent’s Medical Center for treatment. The investigation continues.
