Bowling Green City Council President Mark Hollenbaugh announced today that he will be seeking re-election to his City Council at-large seat in this November’s election.

“It has been my great privilege to serve the citizens of Bowling Green over the past six years, and I am excited to announce that I’ll be running for re-election and for the opportunity to continue serving the citizens of Bowling Green,” Hollenbaugh said.

Prior to returning to City Council in 2018, Hollenbaugh served as a member of the city’s Planning Commission and as a board member for the Wood County Historical Society. In 2020, 2022, and 2024, Hollenbaugh was unanimously elected by his peers to serve as the president of Bowling Green City Council.

Bowling Green will continue to face challenges and opportunities in the coming years, and Hollenbaugh said he looks forward to ensuring the city achieves the best possible outcomes from both. Some areas of continued focus going forward include economic development, improvements to city infrastructure, and addressing housing quality and availability.

“I look forward to continuing my service to the citizens of Bowling Green and ensuring Bowling Green remains a great place to work, live, and build a future,” Hollenbaugh said.
