Murray “Mitch” Mitchell., 79 of Bowling Green, OH passed away at Bridge Hospice at Wood County Hospital on Monday, December 11, 2023. He was born on August 7, 1944 to Earl and Doris (Swanson) Mitchell in Windsor, Ontario, Canada. He later served in the United States Navy from 1965 to 1970.
Murray worked as a heavy machine operator for Ohio Lime where he would retire from after 20 years of employment. He could be described as a car enthusiast. He enjoyed watching hockey, and he loved watching his grandson participate in hockey games. Murray also found joy spending time with his pet cat, Callie.
Murray is survived by his daughter Jaclyne (Mykel) Jahna of Pemberville and grandson Owen Jahna. He was preceded in death by his parents.
There will be no public services. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials take the form of contributions to: The Humane Society of Wood County or Bridge Home Health and Hospice.
