Co-President Musk and DOGE have claimed that there is fraud at Social Security without providing the courts with evidence to prosecute such crime, because it doesn’t exist.
The real effort however is to crater Social Security, causing total system collapse, so it can be looted of the $2.7 trillion in trust funds in reserve that are safe there. 72 million Americans depend on Social Security which has not missed a monthly payment in ninety years.
They are trying to create system collapse and destroy that agency’s capacity to serve the public and thus turn public perception against Social Security.
They have been doing everything they can to destroy the agency’s capacity to serve the public. A new “anti-fraud” step is being created to require millions of individuals claiming benefits to apply “in person” in a Social Security field office. Even while they are reducing the number of field offices to serve the public rather than over the phone. Disabled too bad. Cuts so staffing is now at a fifty year low. Closing field offices and removing 7000 more Social Security employees all to hobble the agency.
If Social Security is to be saved every American needs to spread the alarm to others, e-mail and call every elected official they can, and demand that Social Security be protected from Co-President Musk and DOGE.
