GFWC Women’s Club of Bowling Green, in conjunction with the VFW and American Legion, will present an official National Wreaths Across America Day ceremony on Saturday, Dec. 14, at 10 a.m., to honor and remember those who have served and are serving in the nation’s armed services, including the fallen, prisoners of war, those missing in action, and the families of all.
Kim Roessner, president of GFWC Women’s Club of Bowling Green, will narrate this event of laying official wreaths of live balsam fir at the foot of each memorial at the Wood County Courthouse Veterans Memorial by members of the club, members of the Paul C. Ladd VFW Post and the American Legion. Kathy Mull organized this year’s official ceremony.
The public is invited and encouraged to attend.
