A North Baltimore man was arrested after he allegedly assaulted a Bowling Green man during a custody exchange of a child.
Bowling Green Police were called to an apartment in the 200 block of North Prospect Street on Thursday (Sept. 17) around 8:30 p.m., by a man who said he was assaulted by his son’s step-father. He reported that Dakota Wcislak, 27, came into his home, pushed him onto the stairs, struck him twice and grabbed him by the throat.
Police noted a hand mark on the side of the father’s neck, a swollen lip with dried blood, and blood running down his head. BG EMS was called to check on the injuries.
The child being dropped off at his dad’s residence was reportedly present during the assault. Police sent a “handle with care” email to the BG elementary where the boy attends school.
Wcislak was charged with assault and aggravated burglary, and was taken to Wood County Jail.
