ODOT roadwork and culvert construction projects underway in Wood County

Following are some of the Ohio Department of Transportation projects underway in Wood County, having impacts on local motorists.

Northbound Interstate 475 north of Hull Prairie, approaching the Maumee River, will be reduced to one lane for pavement repairs overnight on Sunday, July 14, and Monday, July 15, 9 p.m.-6 a.m. Ramps to remain open.

Ohio 65, between Ohio 64 and Ohio 235, is closed for two culvert replacements for 45 days. The detour for closure will be Route 65 to Ohio 295 to U.S. 24, and back to Route 65. A third culvert is being replaced north of the Waterville Bridge following the first closure, to begin in mid-August. 

Ohio 199 at Ohio 281, near Wayne, will be closed for construction of a roundabout beginning Monday, July 22, for 60 days. Route 199 detour is U.S. 6 to U.S. 23 to Route 199. Route 281 detour is Route 25 to Route 6 to Route 281.

Ohio 582, between Route 25 and Route 65, will experience lane restrictions for microsurface treatment through mid-July. Work is awaiting final striping.

Ohio 795, between I-75 and Ottawa County, will experience lane restrictions for resurfacing through mid-August. Work is planned to occur primarily overnight, 7 p.m.-7 a.m., weeknights.
