This week’s featured dog ready for adoption at the Wood County Dog Shelter is Olive, a 1-2 year old black lab mix, weighing 53 pound. She came to the shelter as a stray.
According to shelter staff, she is super sweet but can be nervous of men when she first meets them.
Olive seems to do okay with the other dogs, but the shelter recommends an introduction for other dogs in the home first to make sure it would be a good match.
Olive responds very well with treats, so can be a quick learner. She is spayed, heartworm negative, and up to date on her vaccines. She appears to be housebroken, according to shelter staff.
