Perrysburg Musical Theatre to host ‘Broadway Beginners’ class for budding actors

From PERRYSBURG MUSICAL THEATRE

Perrysburg Musical Theatre (PMT) is offering a new class for its youngest stars, “Broadway Beginners.” This 45-minute class is a blend of musical theater and acting skills for young students. Students will be given the opportunity to explore different aspects of PMT’s performing arts program with fast-paced games, improv, and music basics.

This can be a good starting point for budding performers to have an introduction to the arts, which will help set them up to successfully participate in productions as they get older. The class will also participate in crafts and art and will be presented at the showcase. This class is designed to help students grow in confidence, communication, and cooperation, all while having fun performing.

The classes will be led by Artistic Director Julie Bermudez, along with PMT assistants, Madi Gankosky, Abby Clark, Delilah Torio, and Lusi Harutyunyan.

The showcase, “Goldilocks and the Three Bears, the Musical,” will be presented on Jan. 10, 2026, at 5 p.m., along with an art show presenting the artwork students made during classes.
